  • LITHIC GRID ZINE/TAPE
    Cassette + Digital Album

EXTREMELY LIMITED EDITION PURPLE TAPE + ZINE

Lithic Grid is a collective of artists and musicians based in Glasgow, Scotland, that has good times with synthesizers, drum machines, scanners, photocopiers and computers.

This zine/tape was created as a collaborative work over a two week period in a reclaimed industrial space in the center of Glasgow. As part of the residency, a crude studio was set up where ideas were exchanged and live music was recorded as a documentation of channeled energy.

The music side of the project was intended as the antithesis of modern bedroom recording. Instead, this music was created communally, collaboratively and recorded live. The production is sometimes harsh and wrong - the sounds repeat as long as they felt right in performance - the vibrations are often heavy, but shared.

The zine acts as a visual portal to merging and distorting ideas, words, images etc. etc. etc. Something special for the kids.
